He misbehaved at the Curragh and Cork earlier in the year so we gelded him since and he behaved impeccably today. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Adieu Spirit (GB) trained by M.D. O'Callaghan is a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards find M. D. O'Callaghan €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Monkstown, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have an asymmetric trot behind but to be otherwise post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis
S. Foley, rider of Collecting Coin (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled to its right coming out of the gates
