Formscan By Alan Magee - SPLENDID CHOICE won over course and distance in May and looked set to add to his tally at Kilbeggan earlier this month only to be caught close home by I’m Flattered. The form of that race has been boosted since and he remains on a competitive mark. Paul’s Dream went close here last month and has been a beaten favourite on both outings since including when fourth again this venue. No Big Deal was well backed when runner-up in a 1m7f Leopardstown handicap last month and rates an obvious threat if translating that improvement back to hurdles.
