Permission was given for Wolf Of Badenoch (GB), Supido (FR), Arabian Story (IRE), Afentiko (IRE), Hawksbill (GB), Brise Noir (FR), Defence Minister (GB), Iceford (IRE), Tribal Nation (GB), Parole D'oro (GB), and Fifth Column (IRE) to wear a red hood to post; for Teroomm (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood; and for The Fingal Raven (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood, and to be mounted in the chute.
Mr Chaplin (GB), Thunder Wonder (IRE), Brave Mission (GB) and Consolidation (GB) wore earplugs which were removed at the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Fearnot (IRE), placed third, ridden by David Probert, and The Lost King (GB), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Tudhope.
Probert was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to shift left-handed without sufficient correction, causing Tudhope to take a slight check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference one furlong out involving La Botte (GB), placed second, ridden by Jamie Spencer, and Thunder Wonder (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joe Fanning.
Spencer was suspended for 2 days for careless riding for switching left-handed into an insufficient gap causing Fanning to have to take a check against the rail.
On the run to the line, The Lost King (GB), unplaced, shifted quickly left-handed before being corrected causing Teroomm (IRE), unplaced, to be moved marginally off its intended line which, in turn, caused Thunder Wonder (IRE), unplaced, to be moved off its intended line.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Neil Callan reported that God Of War (GB), unplaced, ran too free, and Daniel Tudhope reported that The Lost King (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed in the final two furlongs.
