J.E. Harnett, rider of I've Been Dreaming, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout
D.J. O'Connor, rider of Draiocht, trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bad bump a furlong out
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately one furlong from home involving Obama Army (GB), ridden by S. Coen, placed fifth, Poppadom, ridden by J.S. Dalton, unplaced, Draiocht, ridden by D.J
O'Connor, unplaced, and Gianh River, ridden by C. Cusack, unplaced, where it appeared Draiocht received pressure from both sides. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. O'Connor stated that he heard a shout from his outside and felt contact from behind. J.S. Dalton stated that he maintained his racing line and received contact from his outside. C. Cusack stated that he maintained his line. S. Coen stated that he felt he waited for a gap and committed to it once it appeared. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action

An extended handicap for four years old and upwards rated 0-60 Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won. Riders - Apprentices who hold an Apprentice Licence under Rules of Racing issued by any recognised Turf Authority and who have not ridden more than 20 winners before 16th March, 2025. Allowances - (up to and including 20th July and which are not cumulative) Apprentices who have not ridden a *winner allowed..........7lb; Apprentices who have not ridden 3 *winners allowed..........4lb; Apprentices who have not ridden 10 *winners allowed..........2lb. *Including races under any N.H.
