We went to Listowel really fancying him and while he had a wide draw there, was drawn wide again today, which actually suits him as he likes a bit of room. He has come on in all his runs, his run in Cork was very good and we've been waiting on soft ground for him all year. He is only a light little horse and looks like a Dundalk-horse but he wants slow ground. We'll try and get him out quickly again before the end of the season. We had to have a go at it (with all-weather mark) and with this weather it is riding a bit slower. He ideally loves a bit of juice whether it is on grass or here. He was just wearing them down and he kind of needed every yard of it. Probably didn't travel as well as he can do early on.
