Quotes on Princess Child (FR)
If any horse ever deserved to win a stakes race it was her, although you don't always get what you deserve. She met a bit of trouble in-running but hit the line strong and while it was a head-bobber, she had previously come out the wrong side of a few tight finishes in her career. We had been campaigning her aggressively to try and win a stakes race and while she built a load of black-type, to win a group race is great. I'd say it will be a career-best on the figures and I thought she won the hard way. She is a group winner now so it is job done although we might look to win another one now. After Princess Child (FR) finished 1st at Tipperary on Sun, 31st Aug 2025 7f Flat Yielding

Quotes on Jagged Edge (IRE)
We were ready to rock and roll for the Irish Lincoln but unfortunately he scoped poorly the week of the race, so we just had to sit and wait,. It's obviously been a very difficult winter to get these horses right for the spring but every trainer is in the same boat. I just had to take my time with this horse. . He had been showing all the right signals at home and, we felt he was just ready to start. We had to back off him and, we had to load him with antibiotics there for a month so, he was just ready to start. Hopefully now the horse has a bright summer in front of him. . We'll have to see what the handicapper does to him but we might make a Royal Hunt Cup entry tomorrow. Hopefully he'll develop into a stakes horse later in the season. After Jagged Edge (IRE) finished 1st at Naas on Sun, 17th May 2026 1m Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on Dunum (IRE)
I felt I had got a willing partner. He quickened up the hill and, he dug deep when a challenge came. We couldn't dismiss Galway and have been working towards both this race and the Ahonoora on Sunday. He did well today and Seamie is a great asset for a small yard like ours. Having a jockey of his calibre is a massive help. The horse usually jumps out smart, Seamie wasn't going to give away his position and the horse enjoyed himself. He loves the downhill run into the dip and he battled well towards the line. We'll see how he is at home but hopefully he'll also run in the Ahonoora. After Dunum (IRE) finished 1st at Galway on Tue, 29th Jul 2025 1m Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on Unique Journey (IRE)
He’s a nice horse. I was delighted the ground change to soft because he is a Caravaggio and he actually grows a leg on soft ground,. We were very confident today. I had Colin Keane back on board, he won on him by seven-and-a-half lengths (at Naas back in April). He got a 16lb rise then so he said he owed us one!. He is in the October Horses-in-Training Sale. I’d be sorry to lose him because I think he’d be a good four-year-old as well. He’s going the right way. I’d say there is a big premier handicap in him. I’d be sorry to let him go but we’ll put a good reserve on him. I bought two nice yearlings and somebody has to pay for them! After Unique Journey (IRE) finished 1st at Curragh on Thu, 16th Oct 2025 6f Flat Hcap Yielding

Quotes on Lord Massusus (IRE)
he got a little bogged down in the ground at the Curragh the first day where seven furlongs probably didn’t suit him either. We expected a better run that day but were very disappointed coming home. We put the hood on and he settled better today: he has been over-racing through his races a little bit. we’ll keep him to Listed and Group 3s here and maybe come back here on Champions Weekend for the Boomerang Stakes. He’ll be a solid horse in all those Listed and Group races here and at the Curragh for the season. We tried him in a Group 1 last year and he’s just not quite that level but he’s very solid at this level and he’s able to carry the penalties. People say he’s effective on soft ground but that was in a nursery and in a conditions race as a two-year-old, but this - and quicker, is his preferred surface. After Lord Massusus (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Wed, 9th Apr 2025 1m Flat Good

Quotes on Dark Ace (IRE)
We were after castrating him. He was a bit of a pup there earlier on and we cut him. The boys bought into him when one of the partners sold out - Damian (McCann) still stayed in him. We didn't expect him to run as well, I thought he might have needed it. I said he would be a nice horse for Dundalk, I wasn't expecting him to do this. He is lower (rated) on the grass as well, it was a big difference. He'll go to Dundalk Friday week over six furlongs. Only thing is, I have three others for it as well. He has won there twice. We didn't think he would go on this ground, we didn't think he would like this ground at all. He came home well on it.After Dark Ace (IRE) finished 1st at Navan on Wed, 22nd Oct 2025 5f Flat Hcap Soft

Quotes on Far From Dandy (IRE)
We are getting great support (from the Shamrock Thoroughbreds syndicate) up here on Wednesdays and Fridays. They are definitely enjoying it. It is a fabulous racecourse and it is great to give lads something to look forward to during the winter time. It is a fabulous outlet week in, week out. He was very impressive the last night in a slowly-run mile and did well to quicken up in the '80' grade. Obviously, it was a step up in the '90' grade tonight, but they went a nice gallop. Leigh Roche's horse (Rockbury Lad) gave us something to aim at up the straight. It was a really true-run mile and I think that is what he needs. He could even get a little bit further in time, but we are going to stick to a mile. He's definitely reliant on pace because he is a hold-up horse. He's a three-year-old horse and we will find something there in the new year. It will be kind of a Newcastle plan with him, maybe, as well. He's a horse that has a lot of talent, but is still growing up mentally. He's still a little bit babyish, and hopefully that will give him confidence. He's a fine horse. After Far From Dandy (IRE) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 19th Dec 2025 1m Flat Standard

Quotes on Pierre Royal (IRE)
Barry Potts was with me when we bought him. We liked him, he was very lightly raced and had a nice profile. We thought there was a good bit of improvement in him. He cost 48,000 and he was well bought as usually those horses are making treble that. They are not easy bought. He looked a nice model, and we’ve been lucky out of Mr Weld’s before. It was nice to get another one. He’s a big horse and he needed a bit of time. We love Ballybrit so I’d say that will be our next port of call. Quotes on Genuine Article (GB)
It has been a long time coming for this horse after we bought him, as we thought he'd have won before now and we thought he'd win here last year. He was a bit disappointing overall but the key to him is a cut in the ground. He was proven on this track, which was a big help and Seamie spoke to Colin (Keane, jockey son who is currently suspended) who said to ride him forwards. Colin picked out this horse to buy so he'll be delighted. He had a grand run in Naas the last day and it left him spot on and everything worked out today. After Genuine Article (GB) finished 1st at Galway on Thu, 31st Jul 2025 1m Flat Hcap Good to Yielding

Quotes on Glory To Be (IRE)
That was great. It was a bit of a tactical race. They didn’t go over fast and she was a bit keen with him. He (Lordan) said he wasn’t too sure if she was comfortable being pinned on the rail - she’s a very small filly, but she’s as tough as anything. He said he was always comfortable, although he looked under pressure. He felt they weren’t getting away on him and that he’d be able to get one run. She just does what she has to do when she hits the front, so it was ideal the way it panned out for her. She’s a great filly. I put her in the Scurry in the off chance it would come up good, but they probably need rain there. This track does the best job of watering of any track in the country. The ground is a credit to them. After Glory To Be (IRE) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Wed, 8th Jul 2026 7f Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on Engines On (IRE)
He’s a nice horse. Obviously he was with Prunella Dobbs and when she retired I was lucky to get him,. He won well last year in the Curragh for her. We thought he might take a blow today and Chris said he did but he was just tough and genuine. Hopefully he can improve a little bit for it. We’ll have to see what Mr O’Gorman (handicapper) is going to do. I have him entered in Galway and we’ll see if he goes there. He needs a dig in the ground. After Engines On (IRE) finished 1st at Naas on Wed, 23rd Jul 2025 7f Flat Hcap Yielding

Quotes on Oro Blanco (IRE)
he was looking at everything but was always doing enough and is progressive. He’s run over a mile, and seven furlongs, but he’s probably not a six-furlong horse so could step up in trip again. He’s a big horse for a Havana Grey and hopefully can improve again. After Oro Blanco (IRE) finished 1st at Naas on Wed, 24th Jun 2026 5f Flat Good

Quotes on Liberation Date (GB)
Great to get the first one. The horses have been running really well and we have had plenty of horses placed. This lady had good form coming here today and we were expecting a big run from her. She probably does (need every yard of that), but she will come on plenty now from that experience. She's a big lady and she's learning every day. She's going to improve again. We always thought plenty of her. She's coming now and she is learning off every run. Possibly she will be put away now and we'll wait for the turf to come back or we could come back up again here say in February or March. When she gets a break, she will strengthen up plenty for the break. When she steps up in trip, she will improve. Hopefully, she can bring us to some good places if she is not sold. As with all our horses, they are all for sale. Loved my time riding, and I suppose this was the next step and enjoying every minute of it. It is a completely different avenue to riding them. I have big support from Donnchadh (Doyle), so I have to thank him an awful lot. He has provided me with a yard, and he has filled it as well, so very lucky. I helped out with a few breezers last year and I got a good bug from that then. When Donnchadh and I spoke, that was the next step. There were plenty to train. I have a couple of two-year-olds that haven't run. They will run next year as three-year-olds. I have a couple that might run up here next week. Donnchadh has been very busy buying yearlings at the sales, so we are goinAfter Liberation Date (GB) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 12th Dec 2025 7f Flat Maiden Standard
