The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Touch The Sound, ridden by J.M
Sheridan, unplaced, and Ransom (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, where it appeared Touch The Sound had to check after receiving interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.M. Sheridan said he received slight interference for a stride as he was back peddling. L.T. McAteer said his mount ducked left before being corrected immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Port Louis, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
N.M. Crosse, rider of Everylittlestep, trained by Yvonne Latta, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running two furlongs down
