Quotes on Duckadilly (IRE)
We had her in the sale last year and we weren't getting what we wanted for her. We took her back and the plan was to try and win a stakes race and maybe go back there (sales). As you see, she is a gorgeous, big filly. She has plenty of size and plenty of substance. She will make into a nice broodmare someday. To win my first black-type race here and to have the 1-2 as well is unbelievable!. You just have to move on (from Magny Cours incident in the Irish 1,000 Guineas) - I'll stop when the clock does, and the clock doesn't stop! You have to move on. Life always challenges you no matter what you do. The horses were taking a run, and they went through a bit of a patch when they just weren't firing. We just weren't happy, so we took a pull until we were happy with them and they started to come. They started to come in their coats the last two weeks and started to work a bit better. I was telling the owners that the last ten days I was really happy with the horses. That was great there today and I couldn't imagine it working out like that. It is magical really. After Duckadilly (IRE) finished 1st at Navan on Sun, 7th Jun 2026 1m Flat Good

Quotes on Fingerpaint (GB)
She’s a lovely filly and hopefully that will start the weekend well for Juddmonte,. She’s a big powerful filly and I thought she’d run a very nice race, she’d been working well. We’ll see how she comes out of the race and speak with Barry (Mahon) and Prince Khalid’s family and then decide where we go. I’d say she’s most likely to move up to stakes level. She’s a lovely mannered filly and she’s progressive. I think a mile will be lovely for her with the way she finished out there. It was a lovely race to start her off in and we’ll step up to a mile now. There will be nice improvement in her going a mile. After Fingerpaint (GB) finished 1st at Curragh on Fri, 23rd May 2025 7f Flat Maiden Good

Quotes on Bella Isabella (IRE)
She did that well and got a very good ride from Sam,. The second horse just came over a little bit to join her and Sam had run straight. Then it was kind of six of one, half a dozen of the other just going to the line, if you know what I mean, in that testing ground. She battled very well and I'm delighted to win with her. Quotes on Orchidaceae (IRE)
We ran her in the Guineas Trial first time out this season and she ran a solid enough race and took a blow. She then ran flat and it turned out she was in season. We were hopeful she was in good shape coming into this, although we were quite concerned when the rain came. She settled well and picked up well. Her attitude was good, and Billy gave her a lovely ride. Quotes on Aviatrice (IRE)
She's a very good filly and she's getting better. She travels well and it is the end of the season too. I think there is a lot more to come. Her fractions here last month were very hot. She's a brilliant filly and improving, she's tough. She loves that surface and will make a better four-year-old. She's in the December Mares Sale, so she is going to go there. It is the terms of the syndicate again, a bit like East Hampton last week. I would love if somebody bought her and kept her with us - that would be the dream. She is going to be a valuable mare now. After Aviatrice (IRE) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 7th Nov 2025 1m Flat Standard

Quotes on Pink Oxalis (IRE)
It’s a great weekend to showcase Irish racing and just to be part of it is very special; to get one on the board in my first full season as a trainer means a helluva lot. I’ve got a great team of people behind me. My assistant Stephen Mooney is a great part of it, and I owe him plenty. I feel very sorry for Jack Kearney. When we saw the draw for this race we swapped him off this filly, who he has won three times on, and put him on the other filly. It’s just the way the races have been materialising all day, the middle to stands’ side is where you need to be. She’s a real hold up filly and David has given her a perfect ride. To start life off 59 in the wintertime at Dundalk has given her a lot of confidence to come into the turf season. These races aren’t easily won but she’s won like a helluva good filly there today. In Galway from stall 19 she showed that she’s more than capable off top-weight. She ran a cracker. The last day the Cambridgeshire just didn’t work out. There was no pace in the race and Wayne wasn’t hard on her, so she was nice and fresh for today. She’s Saudi owned by a couple of new owners into the yard and hopefully they will be re-investing with us. I’m super proud for them and the support they’ve given me. They sent me this filly before I even had a runner so hats off to them. They picked her out themselves in Goffs, five-and-a-half grand. She must be one of the most progressive hAfter Pink Oxalis (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Sat, 13th Sep 2025 1m Flat Hcap Good to Yielding

Quotes on Rion Rubette (GB)
She did it lovely. I was a bit worried if she was going to get there, but she ground it out real well and she knew where the line was. . She seems to really be getting a liking for Gowran. It's not that far away from us, so I'd say that's a big help to her. She's tricky enough when travelling and at the races. . Hopefully, if she is all right in the morning, she is entered in the Curragh Derby weekend in the fillies' handicap on the Saturday evening - if she's okay, touch wood she goes there. After Rion Rubette (GB) finished 1st at Gowran Park on Fri, 12th Jun 2026 7f Flat Hcap Yielding

Quotes on Noli Timere (IRE)
Noli Timere is improving with racing and is probably getting a little bit quicker. She is one we have always liked although she has been quite raw, and because of that, I think she could be an even nicer filly next year. She has won her maiden and now a handicap, although her rating is going to creep up. There is the Autumn Fillies' Handicap (in Leopardstown) for her and then the Denny Cordell Lavarack (Gowran Park), if she relaxes enough to maybe stretch to 1m1f. That ground is key to her: she is a Starspangledbanner filly who just loves to get her toe in. We will probably have a shot at black-type before the end of the year because a lot can happen over a winter. After Noli Timere (IRE) finished 1st at Navan on Thu, 28th Aug 2025 1m Flat Hcap Yielding

Quotes on Vega's Muse (GB)
Things didn't happen for her at Galway where she didn't handle the track, but she had been knocking on the door and we're delighted with her. She kept finishing placed so had been frustrating but we thought a lot of her last year, when her maiden form was very good. Things went wrong afterwards, she got sore shins and her head went a little bit but we have her back now and she is really doing things right. Shane said it was lovely to have another horse to aim at (clear leader No Such Thing) and she really enjoyed chasing, although didn't do much when she got to the front. Quotes on Mallavelly (IRE)
We're delighted with both fillies and James got a great feel from Mallavelly today. They went a good strong gallop, she loves that top of the ground and loves that distance. She is progressing all the time and obviously with fillies, the objective is to get blacktype. She is a little off it yet but that would be the ultimate aim. Unfortunately Empress Artemis keeps getting put up for finishing second so is detrimental to her own success. She’s always been a very good filly,. I ran her in the Birdcatcher and thought she’d win that. I put a tongue-tie on her to see if it would improve her and she didn’t jump and got into all the trouble. She looked like the winner of the race to me but didn’t get the run. I said we’d go back to maidens and we kept bumping into one. She ran a blinder two months ago in Dundalk. Johnny Murtagh’s filly (Songhai) won it and she was third in a Listed race the other day. I’ve always thought she’d a black-type filly but couldn’t win my maiden. I kept coming up against 90 horses so I said we’d just go for a handicap. The last day I ran her back a bit too quick and I saw it wasn’t the thing to do. I said I’d freshen her right up and thankfully the ground has stayed firm, because that’s what she wants. Everyone keeps preaching that she wants seven, I don’t disagree as I think she could stay seven but I think six is her trip. There is a race next week for her but it would be the same mistake again, running her back too quick. It was either the 0-80 against older horses or this. I thought there would be a huge field for this but there were only 12 or 13 entries and seven declared, but it was a hot field. On paper and homework she should win that but she just hadn’t won. After Temperance (IRE) finished 1st at Naas on Sat, 10th May 2025 5f Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on Glory To Be (IRE)
It was a great run the last day when Wayne (Lordan, rider then) said it was unfortunate that the winner just hit her right on the line, so didn’t get a chance to fight her off. All she wants to do is get into a battle and she stayed the seven furlongs really well today. We always thought she would stay but we kept her in the five and six furlong-maidens last year because they are less competitive. She had no problem staying seven furlongs today and probably didn’t know herself, as she was in her comfort zone early on and seemed to enjoy it. Hopefully she’s a fun filly and we’ll find something with her now. There is a nice fillies handicap in Gowran next Wednesday, so we might look at that. After Glory To Be (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Wed, 15th Apr 2026 7f Flat Hcap Yielding to Soft

Quotes on Spinning Around (IRE)
They all ran very well which is great. That filly (Spinning Around) doesn't do a massive amount on the track, she only does what she has to. She seemed to handle the surface well and I think there is plenty in there. Gavin said she doesn't seem to do a whole lot when she gets to the front, so hopefully there are some more races in her. After Spinning Around (IRE) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 17th Oct 2025 7f Flat Hcap Standard

Quotes on Prevalence (GB)
Very important - she is related to Juncture. As Colin said, it took us all of her three-year-old career (Juncture) to get her to tick the box we wanted. Total different filly tonight than she was the first night. She acted clueless on the first night and we knew coming (tonight) we had a different filly. Going to the start, I thought she was a bit on it. Then didn't have the pace to hold her position and I said 'for a small filly, you are going to have to be good now because he (Keane) had to take back and go'. She was good and honest. Time will tell how big the race is. We are a long way off where we want to be, but we will give her that chance now. She has all her three-year-old career to hit the boxes we need to be ticking for that pedigree. The good news is, job done at two, and I can stop now. You won't see her again before May.After Prevalence (GB) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 7th Nov 2025 7f Flat Maiden Standard

Quotes on Sanctijude (IRE)
We were talking beforehand how do we win it. It was grand to get it done. Billy said he'd go forward but I said if someone wants to go forward, I'd love it to ride like a bit of work and have her come into it. That's the way it worked out, so I'm delighted. I'm delighted for Michael and Dymphna Deegan; they're getting on a flight at 5.30 to fly out to Kenya, I think, to visit their sister who is seventy, so a nice present for them. After Sanctijude (IRE) finished 1st at Gowran Park on Wed, 20th May 2026 1m Flat Maiden Good to Yielding
